I really liked have control over the text in this exercise. The label and annotation tool bars were easy to use and I think I got a pretty good handle on the use of it. In the map I tried to stuff as much as I could in the map document and still make it readable. I enjoyed making this map.
I really like your map. You managed to make the labels in the urban areas legible. Knoxville and Greenville are really the acid test when it comes to labeling. It is clear that you spent a lot of time on this project and I bet you would like to spend a lot more on it. It is amazing how many details pop up that you would like to tweek.
ReplyDeleteLooks pretty good. You left your small roads labels on with your larger street symbols. I like your colors, there is enough contrast to make the words stand out from the background.
